Biography

In 2003 Pastor Todd Foster, Senior Pastor of Church on the Rock - New Haven, had a vision to take back the arts for the Kingdom of God.  Out of this vision a number of arts ministries were birthed at Church on the Rock, New Haven.  The Church on the Rock Worship Jazz Ensemble was one of those ministries.

Church on the Rock is a multi-cultural congregation, which is also represented in the band, now called Tapestry.

Tapestry’s mission is to minister the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a fresh new way.  With God before us, we have been blessed to minister in a number of different churches and venues in and around Connecticut and have been well received.  We consider ourselves a group of worshipers who’s goal individually and as a group is to see God be glorified, to seek and save those who are lost and to minister the gospel through music.  The blessing for us is our style of music has enabled us to reach a broader group of people and has also provided a different style of music for Christians to enjoy.

Tapestry ministers music in the form of Gospel, Gospel and Latin Jazz and Contemporary Christian Worship in English and Spanish.
